Every Teacher, Every Subject.
ClassMate gives teachers the trusted, expert-verified content and built-in educational tools they need to spend less time searching and more time teaching.
The Challenge Every Teacher Knows
Reading comprehension, grounded in structured literacy, touches every subject in middle school. When students cannot access complex texts, understanding suffers in science, social studies, and everywhere in between. Building assignments to support every learner is time-consuming work. With ClassMate, that support is already built in.
According to the latest NAEP report,
the average reading scores for 13-year-olds remain lower than they were pre-pandemic.
How ClassMate Works for Teachers
Built-In Support for Every Learner
As one of the best reading platforms for struggling readers, ClassMate assignments include structured supports, so every student has what they need to engage with complex texts confidently. Teachers spend less time troubleshooting and more time guiding the deeper thinking that moves learning forward.
More Time for What Matters
With expert-verified resources already built for middle school students, teachers get back the time they used to spend searching, vetting, and adapting materials from external sources. That time goes back to instruction, feedback, and the moments that move students forward.
Works Alongside Existing Instruction
ClassMate gives every teacher, across every subject, the confidence to focus on what matters most. It fits into existing instruction and supports teachers of any training or background in helping students build knowledge and deepen understanding, all without adding to their workload.
When Teachers Have What They Need, Students Thrive
“I found the site to be super easy to use. I have used a lot of different online sites, many of which are overcomplicated and frustrating, so this is a great example of what it should be.”
