ClassMate by World Book is pursuing ESSA Tier 4 certification through Digital Promise.

ClassMate's design is grounded in a clearly articulated logic model and five peer-reviewed research citations connecting published evidence to specific product features. In 2025, World Book conducted exploratory research with 6th-8th grade teachers across 14 states to examine whether ClassMate's design aligns with real classroom needs and the short-term outcomes specified in the logic model.
